The 77year journey of a kid born into a broken home in south Philadelphia. Streets inhabited by the real life characters you see in movies like Goodfellows and a Bronx Tale to the corridors of power. From the secretary of army and other high level government and bureaucratic officials to princes in the middle east.
A kid who sat at the knee and of a highly decorated WW2 tank veteran who’s tank and body were destroyed because of the great inferiority of our tanks against the German panzers Scenes described in first hand that were later depicted in movies like Fury with big name actors.
How ironic would it be that years later he would find himself on the ground as one of the first officers present in the initial testing and fielding of the M1 Abrams.
Picked to work for military i intelligence at that time he would have countless meetings with Soviet agents in west Germany west Berlin and beyond.
Bottom line: The ancient Greeks said the little criminals they execute the big criminals they build monuments to.
